No. 4 Ohio State 49, Tulane 6—

At Columbus, Ohio, Dwayne Haskins Jr. was 21 of 24 passing for 304 yards and five touchdowns in the first half for the Buckeyes (4-0) in coach Urban Meyer’s return to the sideline after a three-game suspension. The Green Wave (1-3) were outgained 570-256 in yards of offense.

■ No. 18 Wisconsin 28, Iowa 17 —

At Iowa City, Iowa, Alex Hornibrook threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Taylor with 57 seconds left, capping a 10-play, 88-yard go-ahead drive by the Badgers (3-1, 1-0). Nate Stanley threw for 222 yards for the Hawkeyes (3-1, 0-1) but was intercepte­d with 38 seconds left.

■ No. 19 Michigan 56, Nebraska 10—

At Ann Arbor, Mich., Karan Higdon ran for 136 yards and a touchdown for the Wolverines (3-1, 1-0), who led 20-0 after one quarter and 39-0 at intermissi­on. The Cornhusker­s (0-3, 0-1), who had 39 yards rushing and 93 passing, are off to their worst start since 1945 and have lost seven straight for the first time since 1957.

■ Purdue 30, No. 23 Boston College 13 —

At West Lafayette, Ind., freshman Rondale Moore had eight catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns for the Boilermake­rs (13), who had a 13 1/2-minute edge in time of possession. Anthony Brown threw four intercepti­ons for the Eagles (3-1), two on passes tipped at the line, and was sacked for times.

■ No. 24 Michigan State 35, Indiana 21 —

At Bloomingto­n, Ind., Brian Lewerke threw two touchdown passes, had his first career catch and made a perfect pitch to kicker Matt Coghlin for a 6-yard scoring run for the Spartans (2-1, 1-0). Whop Philyor had 13 catches for 148 yards for the Hoosiers (3-1, 0-1).

■ Maryland 42, Minnesota 13 —

At College Park, Md., freshman Anthony McFarland ran for 112 yards and two touchdowns for the Terrapins (3-1, 1-0), who held a 288-109 edge in yards of offense in the first half and led 21-10 at intermissi­on. Freshman Zach Annexstad threw two intercepti­ons for the Golden Gophers (3-1, 0-1), one that safety Tre Watson return 36 yards for a TD.

■ Buffalo 42, Rutgers 13 —

At

Piscataway, N.J., Tyree Jackson threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns, and freshman Jaret Patterson ran for 104 yards and two TDs on 14 carries for the Bulls (4-0), who won their seventh straight and first ever over a Big Ten team. The Scarlet Knights (1-3) trailed 35-6 at halftime.
