At Morgantown, W.Va., Will Grier threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns and committed four turnovers for the Mountainee­rs (5-0, 3-0), including three intercepti­ons either in the end zone or at the goal line in the first half. Cornerback Hasan Defense had two intercepti­ons for the Jayhawks (2-4, 0-3), who mustered 286 yards of offense.

Iowa State 48, No. 25 Oklahoma State 42 —

At Stillwater, Okla., third-string quarterbac­k Brock Purdy, a true freshman, was 18 of 23 passing for 318 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 84 yards and a score for the Cyclones (2-3, 1-2), who amassed a season-high 465 yards of offense. Tyler Cornelius passed for 289 yards and four TDs for the Cowboys (4-2, 1-2), who lost their second straight home game. Iowa State held Justice Hill, the league’s top rusher, to 66 yards and a TD on 24 carries.

Alex Barnes ran for 250 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries for the Wildcats (2-4, 0-3), including a tying 48-yard TD and a go-ahead 52-yard score with 10:38 left. Trestan Ebner ran for 100 yards for Baylor.
