■ No. 2 Louisiana State 36, Mississipp­i State 13 — At Starkville, Miss., Joe Burrow was 25 of 32 passing for 327 yards and four TDs for the Tigers (7-0, 3-0), who amassed 415 yards of offense and averaged 6.9 yards per play. Freshman Garrett Shrader threw for 238 yards and a TD and ran for 66 yards and a score for the Bulldogs (3-4, 1-3). Burrow’s 29 TD passes is an LSU single-season record.

■ No. 9 Florida 38, South Carolina 27— At Columbia, S.C., Kyle Trask threw three of his four TD passes in the fourth quarter for the Gators (7-1, 4-1), who trailed 20-17 in the final period. Tavien Feaster, a Clemson graduate transfer, ran for 175 yards, including a 21-yard TD, for the Gamecocks (3-4, 2-3).

■ No. 10 Georgia 21, Kentucky 0 — At Athens, Ga., D’Andre Swift’s 39-yard thirdquart­er TD run snapped a scoreless tie, and he totaled 179 yards rushing and another TD for the Bulldogs (6-1, 3-1). Lynn Bowden ran for 99 yards in his second start at quarterbac­k for the Wildcats (3-4, 1-4).

■ No. 11 Auburn 51, Arkansas 10 — At Fayettevil­le, Ark., freshman Bo Nix threw two TD passes in a 22-second span of the third quarter, added another TD pass and ran for a score for the Tigers (6-1, 3-1). The Razorbacks (2-5, 0-4) held Auburn to 170 yards of offense in the first half.

■ Vanderbilt 21, No. 22 Missouri 14 — At Nashville, Tenn., Ke’Shawn Vaughn ran for a TD and took a screen pass 61 yards for a score for the Commodores (2-5, 1-3). Kelly Bryant was sacked three times for the Tigers (5-2, 2-1) and threw an intercepti­on into the Vanderbilt end zone.

ATLANTIC COAST

■ No. 3 Clemson 45, Louisville 10

— At Louisville, Ky., Trevor Lawrence overcame two first-quarter intercepti­ons near the Cardinals’ goal line to throw three TD passes, and Travis Etienne ran for 192 yards and a TD for the Tigers (7-0, 5-0) in their 22nd straight win. Louisville (4-3, 2-2) absorbed six sacks and didn’t score a TD until 5:10 remained.

■ No. 5 Oklahoma 52, West Virginia 14— At Norman, Okla., Jalen Hurts was 16 of 17 passing for 316 yards and three TDs and ran for 75 yards and two scores for the Sooners (7-0, 4-0), who amassed 562 yards of offense and scored at least 34 points for a 17th straight game. Austin Kendall, who spent three seasons as an Oklahoma backup, threw for 182 yards and two TDs for the Mountainee­rs (3-4, 1-3).

■ No. 15 Texas 50, Kansas 48 — At Austin, Texas, Cameron Dicker kicked a 33yard field goal for the Longhorns (5-2, 3-1) as time expired, after the teams had traded six fourth-quarter TDs. Sam Ehlinger passed for 399 yards and four TDs and ran for 91 yards for Texas. Carter Stanley threw for 310 yards and four TDs, and Pooka Williams ran for 190 yards and two TDs for the Jayhawks (2-5, 0-4).

■ No. 18 Baylor 45, Oklahoma State 27— At Stillwater, Okla., Charlie Brewer was 13 of 17 passing for 312 yards and a TD and ran for a score for the Bears (7-0, 4-0), who extended their program-record win streak to nine games. Chuba Hubbard, the nation’s top rusher, ran for 171 yards and two TDs on 32 carries for the Cowboys (4-3, 1-3).

■ No. 13 Utah 21, No. 17 Arizona State 3— At Salt Lake City, Zack Moss ran for 99 yards and two TDs for the Utes (6-1, 3-1), setting a program record with 3,264 yards rushing. The Sun Devils (5-2, 2-2) mustered 136 yards of offense on a rainy night and had their modern-era record of games scoring more than 10 points end at 125.

BIG TEN

■ No. 20 Minnesota 42, Rutgers 7

— At Piscataway, N.J., Rodney Smith ran for 111 yards and two TDs for the Golden Gophers (7-0, 4-0), who have won nine straight and are 7-0 for the first time since winning the national title in 1960. The Scarlet Knights (1-6, 0-5) have lost 17 straight league games.

■ No. 23 Iowa 26, Purdue 20 — At Iowa City, Iowa, Mekhi Sargent scored on a 14-yard run with 2:16 left for the Hawkeyes (5-2, 2-2), who got four field goals from Keith Duncan. David Bell caught 13 passes for 197 yards and a TD for the Boilermake­rs (2-5, 1-3).

OTHERS

■ No. 19 Southern Methodist 45, Temple 21 — At Dallas, Shane Buechele set career highs with 457 yards passing and six TD passes for the Mustangs (7-0, 3-0 American Athletic), who are 7-0 for the first time since 1982. The Owls (5-2, 2-1) had no answer for Reggie Roberson Jr., who had eight catches for 250 yards, including TDs of 75, 60 and 33 yards.

■ No. 21 Cincinnati 24, Tulsa 13 —

At Cincinnati, Gerrid Doaks took on an expanded role for the Bearcats (6-1, 3-0 American Athletic) when starter Michael Warren II left twice with leg injuries and ran for two TDs and turned a short pass into a 28-yard score. The Golden Hurricane (2-5, 0-3) held edges of 377-317 in yards of offense and 23-18 in first downs.

■ No. 24 Appalachia­n State 52, Louisiana-Monroe 7 — At Boone, N.C., Darrynton Evans totaled 177 yards of offense and two TDs for the Mountainee­rs (6-0, 3-0 Sun Belt), who won their 12th straight game and first as a Top 25 team. Caleb Evans mustered 75 yards passing and threw two intercepti­ons for the Warhawks (3-4, 2-1).
