■ NO. 7 MARYLAND 80, Oakland 50: Anthony Cowan Jr. had 11 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the Terrapins (3-0), who held the Golden Grizzlies (3-2) to 36.5-percent shooting.

Darryl Morsell had 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting and seven rebounds for Maryland, which had a 40-30 edge in rebounds. Xavier Hill-Mais scored 18 points for Oakland.

■ NO. 9 VIRGINIA 60, Columbia 42:

Mamadi Diakite and Jay Huff each scored 13 points for the Cavaliers (3-0), who held the Lions (1-3) to 28.6-percent shooting.

Mike Smith scored 16 points for Columbia, which notched the highest point total allowed by Virginia this season. The Cavs led 31-17 at halftime.

■ NO. 10 VILLANOVA 78, Ohio 54:

Saddiq Bey scored 19 points for the Wildcats (2-1), who made 14 of 31 3-point tries and held the Bobcats (3-1) to 3-for20 shooting from beyond the arc.

Justin Moore scored 18 points for Villanova, which erased a one-point deficit with a 27-4 run to close the first half. Ben Vander Plas had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Ohio.

■ NO. 13 MEMPHIS 102, Alcorn State 56: Lester Quinones had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Tigers (3-1) to a romp over the Braves (1-3).

Precious Achiuwa scored 20 points and D.J. Jeffries 15 for Memphis. Isaiah Attles led Alcorn State with 13 points.

■ Tennessee 75, No. 20 Washington 62: At Toronto, Jordan Bowden scored 15 of his 18 points in the first half to lead the Volunteers (3-0) past the Huskies (2-1).

Tennessee recorded an assist on each of its 15 made baskets in the first half and totaled 19 assists on 25 makes. Washington trailed 40-28 at halftime.

Nahziah Carter had 18 points and 12 rebounds and Isaiah Stewart 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Huskies.

■ NO. 23 LOUISIANA STATE 75, Nicholls State 65: Darius Days had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers (21), who broke a 48-all tie with a 10-0 run to down the Colonels (2-2).

■ NO. 25 COLORADO 71, San Diego 53: D’Shawn Schwartz scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half for the Buffaloes (2-0), who avenged losses to the Toreros (2-3) in each of the past two seasons.

■ NEW MEXICO 90, McNeese State 80: Corey Manigault scored six of his 24 points in the closing minutes to lift the Lobos (4-0) past the Cowboys (1-4).

JaQuan Lyle had 18 points, Carlton Bragg 18 rebounds and J.J. Caldwell 10 assists for New Mexico. Shamarkus Kennedy had 26 points, nine rebounds and six blocks for McNeese State.

■ Southern California 76, UNR 66: Nick Rakocevic had 24 points and 11 rebounds for the Trojans (4-0), who held the Wolf Pack (2-2) to 32.8-percent shooting.

■ Oregon State 83, WYOMING

63: Tres Tinkle scored 16 points for the Beavers (3-1), who led by seven at halftime. The Cowboys (1-3) missed 19 of 24 3-point attempts.

Hunter Maldonado scored 18 points to lead Wyoming, which made 18 of 20 free throws. Kylor Kelley and Ethan Thompson each scored 13 points for Oregon State.

■ Colorado State 74, LOYOLA MARYMOUNT 64: Isaiah Stevens made 9 of 10 free throws and totaled 21 points to

lead the Rams (3-1) past the Lions (1-2).

Nico Caravacho added 17 points for Colorado State. Eli Scott had 16 points and seven assists for Loyola Marymount.
