No. 1 Alabama 63, Kentucky 3:

At Tuscaloosa, Ala., DeVonta Smith caught nine passes for 144 yards and two TDs for the Crimson Tide (7-0, 7-0), breaking Amari Cooper’s league and team mark with 33 TD catches. The Wildcats (3-5, 3-5) were missing several players.

No. 6 Florida 38 Vanderbilt 17: At Nashville, Tenn., Kyle Trask threw for 383 yards and three TDs for the Gators (6-1, 6-1) in their seventh straight win over the Commodores (0-7, 0-7). Nine Florida players caught a pass.

No. 13 Georgia 31, Mississipp­i State 24: At Athens, Ga., J.T. Daniels threw for 401 yards and four TDs in his debut for Georgia (5-2, 5-2), finding freshman Jermaine Burton for eight catches for 197 yards and two TDs. Dillon Johnson ran for two TDs for Mississipp­i State (2-5, 2-5).

No. 23 Auburn 30, Tennessee 17: At Auburn, Ala., safety Smoke Monday returned an intercepti­on 100 yards for a TD for the Tigers (5-2, 5-2), who overcame injuries to their top running back and two starting offensive tackles. Eric Gray ran for 173 yards and a TD for the Volunteers (2-5, 2-5).

Louisiana State 27, Arkansas 24: At Fayettevil­le, Ark., T.J. Finley threw for 271 yards and two TDs for the Tigers (3-3, 3-3), whose go-ahead drive was aided by a targeting penalty. Feleipe Franks threw for 339 yards and a TD and ran for a score for the Razorbacks (3-5, 3-5).

Missouri 17, South Carolina 10: At Columbia, S.C., Connor Bazelak threw for 203 yards and a TD for the Tigers (3-3, 3-3), who led 17-0 and held the Gamecocks (2-6, 2-6) to 68 first-half yards of offense.

No. 3 Ohio State 42, No. 9 Indiana 35:

At Columbus, Ohio, Master Teague ran for 169 yards and two TDs for the Buckeyes (4-0, 4-0), who overcame QB Justin Fields’ first three intercepti­ons of the season. Michael Penix threw for 491 yards and five TDs for the Hoosiers (4-1, 4-1), who trailed 35-7. Fields threw for 300 yards and two TDs. Ty Fryfogle had seven catches for 218 yards and three TDs for Indiana.

No. 19 Northweste­rn 17, No. 10 Wisconsin 7: At Evanston, Ill., Peyton Ramsey threw for 203 yards and two TDs for the Wildcats (5-0, 5-0), who forced five turnovers in their first win over a top-10 team in nine years. The Badgers (2-1, 2-1) had a 366-263 edge in yards of offense.

Michigan 48, Rutgers 42, 3OT: At Piscataway, N.J., Cade McNamara came off the bench to throw for four TDs and run for another for the Wolverines (2-3, 2-3), who avoided their worst start in 53 years. Noah Vedral threw for 378 yards and three TDs for the Scarlet Knights (1-4, 1-4).

Iowa 41, Penn State 21: At State College, Pa., Spencer Petras passed for 186 yards and ran for a TD for the Hawkeyes (3-2, 3-2), who won their third straight. Iowa had lost six in a row to the Nittany Lions (0-5, 0-5), who are 0-5 for the first time in their 134-year history.

Illinois 41, Nebraska 23: At Lincoln, Neb., Chase Brown ran for 110 yards and two TDs for the Illini (2-3, 2-3), who benefited from five turnovers by the Cornhusker­s (1-3, 1-3) — four by QB Luke McCaffrey.

No. 17 Iowa State 45, Kansas State 0:

At Ames, Iowa, Brock Purdy threw for 236 yards and three TDs for the Cyclones (6-2, 6-1) in their most decisive win over the Wildcats (4-4, 4-3) in 77 years. K-State, outgained 539-149 in yards of offense, had won 11 of the previous 12 meetings.
