Maria Lintz, formally of Henderson, Nevada, passed peacefully on January 22, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton, Ohio surrounded by her sons. Mari Pili, as she was known by family and friends, was born on January 4, 1941 in Burgos, Spain to parents Lucio Infante and Theodosia Perez Infante. Maria was the second youngest of nine children. In 1964, Maria met and married, Larry Lintz, a US Air Force Airman serving at Torrejon Air Base in Madrid. Maria joined her husband in returning to the United States where she started a family and raised four sons. She was a loving mother and dedicated military spouse, and considered raising her sons her greatest accomplish­ment. In 1989, Maria moved to Las Vegas where she worked in, and retired from the hospitalit­y industry. Maria enjoyed traveling, the beaches, the mountains and exercising. Maria was especially fond of playing bingo in her favorite Las Vegas casinos. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Theodosia and Lucio; siblings Juliana (Juli), Esperanza, Lucio, and Luis; and by her beloved daughter-in-law, Deseree Driver Lintz. Maria is survived by siblings Maria Patrocinio (Maruja), Francisca (Paquita), Javier, Natividad (Nati); the father of her children, Lawrence R. Lintz Sr; and her sons Larry Jr. (Londa) of Jamestown, Ohio, Michael (Kim) of Sparks, Nevada, Randy of Verdi, Nevada and David Lucio (Karen) of Saint Jacob, Illinois. Maria is also survived by 12 grandchild­ren and one great grandchild on the way.
