VIRGINIA SCIBIOR

-

We sadly announce the passing of Virginia (Bomber) Scibior on January 24th, 2021 in Boise, ID. We are comforted that she is now reunited with her husband of 54 years and love of her life, Richard Scibior, who preceded her in 2017. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Deborah Scibior (Scott Grothe), Denise Fischer (Gary), Melissa Gaskell (Kevin) and her six grandchildren Logan, Paige, Isaac, Jacob, Ryan and Jenna, all of Boise. Also, her brother, Tom Bomber, and three nieces, a nephew, and two step-grandchildren.

Virginia was born on March 9th, 1942 in Detroit, MI. She married Richard on April 27th, 1963 and his Air Force career took them to California, New York, Texas, Arizona, Michigan, New Mexico and Japan. After retiring in Albuquerque, they moved to Las Vegas, NV and finally to Boise, ID to be closer to family. All her life, people gravitated to Virginia because she had the gift of truly listening and asking questions about people’s lives. She gathered lifelong friends in every place she lived and visited and will be dearly missed.

Virginia’s family was the top priority in her life. She adored her husband, her girls and their husbands, and doted on her six grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She also enjoyed traveling, trying new restaurants, going to movies, the Las Vegas nightlife, decorating, and shopping. In 2017, she adopted a sweet little dog named Stanley who provided her much needed joy and companionship. He remains part of the family.

A light has gone out in this world. A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held on April 27th, 2021. Please contact the family for details and see www.bowmanfuneral.com.
