CAROL ABBOTT

Carol Abbott, a faithful wife, a mother of three children and six grandchildren, passed away Monday March 1, 2021 from a longfought battle with pneumonia and lung cancer. Carol passed away peacefully, knowing that her husband, her children, and her grandchildren loved her. Carol was a survivor and a champion for others, serving her fellow man as a registered nurse for over 30 years. Carol found happiness later in life with a most wonderful man, Steven Park, who married Carol and made her final years adventurous, amazing, and wonderful. Steve survives his wife Carol, along with Carol’s children, Caron Evans, Andrew Davies, and Anthony Davies. Carol has left a wonderful legacy behind including her grandchildren, Sunny Whipple, Cameron Elise Whipple, Zachary Davies, Nicolas Davies, Alex Davies, and Chango Davies. Carol was loved and will missed. We commend Carol’s soul to the Lord Jesus Christ; we know she will always be with us.

Daniel Engelbrecht, age 62, passed away in his sleep, February 25, 2021, in Henderson, NV. Daniel was a native of Henderson, born June 27, 1958, at Rose De Lima Hospital. He attended Basic High School, graduating in 1976. Daniel went on to do many things including becoming a chef by trade and traveling the world as a Merchant Marine. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Dale Engelbrecht, of Henderson. He is survived by his mother, Jane Engelbrecht, of Henderson, his sister, Cathy Rooney (Patrick), of Mesa, Arizona, two aunts, Joyce Nies of Henderson, and Linda Becker of Las Vegas, as well as cousins, nieces and grand nieces and nephews. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
