Ducks rally to upend Avalanche in OT

DENVER — Ryan Getzlaf scored on a power play 1:59 into overtime as the Anaheim Ducks beat the Colorado Avalanche 5-4 on Saturday to snap a nine-game winless streak. Troy Terry had two goals and Rickard Rakell a goal and two assists for the Ducks, who overcame a 4-2 deficit. Ryan Miller had 29 saves in his 389th win, tying him with Dominik Hasek for 14th in NHL history.

■ Canucks 4, Maple Leafs 2: At Vancouver, British Columbia, Bo Horvat and J.T. Miller scored 42 seconds apart midway through the third period for Vancouver.

■ Oilers 3, Flames 2: At Edmonton, Alberta, Connor McDavid scored the go-ahead goal with 3:45 left and had two assists to back Mike Smith, who had 34 saves.

■ Rangers 6, Devils 3: At Newark, N.J., Ryan Strome scored twice for New York, which won its third straight and dealt New Jersey its fifth loss in a row.

■ Islanders 5, Sabres 2: At Uniondale, N.Y., Mathew Barzal and Scott Mayfield each had a goal and an assist for New York, which won its fourth straight.

■ Kings 4, Blues 3, OT: At Los Angeles, Adrian Kempe scored 1:45 into overtime, and Anze Kopitar had two goals and an assist for Los Angeles.

Ariz., Tyler Pitlick scored twice to back Darcy Kuemper, who had 32 saves, as Arizona overcame a 2-0 deficit.
