Walter Joseph "Joe," "Wally," Peltonen, 59 years old, passed away in the early morning hours on July 13, 2021 at the St. Rose Medical Center in Henderson, Nevada. He was born November 11, 1961 in Eureka, California. Joe was married to the love of his life, Shelly A. Peltonen, in 1993 in Reno, Nevada and enjoyed 28 years of married life. In 1993, Joe and Shelly moved to Las Vegas so he could continue his career as an accomplish­ed sheet metal/stainless steel worker. Joe was well known in the industry for nearly 30 years. He had a special bond with the guys he worked with and, left behind

many great friends. Joe was a dedicated family man who loved being at home with Shelly and his two dogs, Bobbie and Indy. He enjoyed the outdoors and was passionate about helping others fix things. "He was a renaissanc­e man." Joe was an avid motorcycle man, riding with Shelly and friends in the evenings and on the weekends. If he wasn’t cleaning his bikes, he was riding them. Joe will always be remembered for his loyalty to family and friends, his love of dogs and love of motorcycle­s. Joe is survived by his wife, Shelly, step-son Brandon Carnahan (Sophia, Joshua, Aubrianna), mother-in-law Ann Maro, father-in-law Ray Clay Orchard, brothers Dana

(Michelle), Gino, Dorian, brother-in-law Arlen Orchard (Paul), nephew Derek Orchard (Melissa, Zander), and Uncle Terry Willmon. A celebratio­n of life services will be announced to all family and friends at a later date.
