Gilgeous-Alexander’s shot at buzzer boosts Thunder

OKLAHOMA CITY — Shai GilgeousAl­exander hit a 27-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Oklahoma City Thunder past the Los Angeles Clippers 104-103 on Saturday.

Lu Dort scored 29 points after sitting out Oklahoma City’s previous game because of a left ankle sprain. GilgeousAl­exander had 18 points and rookie Josh Giddey eight points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists for the Thunder.

Luke Kennard scored a season-high 27 points for Los Angeles. Terence Mann had 18 points and Reggie Jackson 16 points and 10 assists for the Clippers, who were without top scorer Paul George (right elbow sprain).

Oklahoma City shot 53 percent in the first half and led 57-52 at intermissi­on. Los Angeles trailed 81-79 entering the fourth quarter.

■ Celtics 114, Knicks 107: At Boston, Josh Richardson had 27 points to lead three 20-point scorers for Boston, which led by 15 points at halftime but trailed by two after three quarters. Evan Fournier scored 32 points for New York.

■ Magic 100, Nets 93: At New York, Robin Lopez had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Orlando (6-25), which halted a four-game win streak by short-handed Brooklyn (21-9). The Nets entered with nine players in COVID-19 protocol.

■ Cavaliers 119, Bucks 90: At Milwaukee, Cedi Osman scored 23 points and Darius Garland 22 for Cleveland in its sixth straight win. Jordan Nwora had 28 points for Milwaukee, which was without all of its regular starters.

■ Raptors 119, Warriors 100: At Toronto, Fred VanVleet had 27 points and 12 assists for Toronto, which shot 50 percent — the first Golden State foe to do so this season. The Warriors rested five top players.

■ Rockets 116, Pistons 107: At Detroit, UNLV product Christian Wood had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead seven double-figure scorers for Houston, which dealt Detroit its 14th straight loss.

■ Wizards 109, Jazz 103: At Salt Lake City, Bradley Beal scored 37 points for Washington, which halted a four-game skid. Donovan Mitchell had 32 points and Rudy Gobert 19 rebounds for Utah.
