STEVE WESTERMAN has been named vice president of Cox Business Las Vegas, whose contracts include Las Vegas Convention Center, T-Mobile Arena, Allegiant Stadium and Caesars Entertainment. Westerman previously served as senior director of business process for Cox Business in Atlanta.
Marshall Retail Group and InMotion, subsidiaries of WH Smith, appointed Toby Keir as chief executive officer of both companies. Keir succeeds former Marshall Retail Group CEO Michael Wilkins, who will begin his transition with the board of directors as chairman of WHSmith North America at the end of this year.
Keir was formerly the managing director of WH Smith Travel. In his new role, he will lead the Las Vegas-based specialty retailer’s growth in the airport and casino-resort marketplace.
“Toby will bring exciting new perspectives and ideas to our business while maintaining what has made us special,” said Wilkins in news release. “As an organization, we’ve seen an exponential amount of growth over the past few years, most recently announcing that we have won over 50 stores that are yet to open, and that’s just the beginning. I look forward to seeing what’s to come for the bright future of Marshall Retail Group.”
Global software provider Rimini Street Inc. appointed Eric Helmer as its chief technology officer. Helmer, who previously led the firm’s Strategic Services Group, will be responsible for helping prospects and clients design and deploy IT, operational and financial goals across enterprise applications and techonology products such as Oracle, Salesforce, IBM and Microsoft.
The Baller Dream Foundation, a nonprofit supporting children and young adults battling cancer, welcomed its first Las Vegas executive director, Paige Maddux. The Las Vegas native returns to the valley after previously serving as director of philanthropy for Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California.
