HILDA RAMUDO
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Hilda Ramudo on March 28th, peacefully in her sleep. She was born Hilda Gloria de Jesus Veiga on January 14, 1937 in Havana, Cuba to Jose
Manuel and Gloria Veiga. She was educated in the parochial system in all-girls school then went to University in Havana where she studied pharmacy. In her third year, Fidel Castro closed the university. She had planned to finish her degree before marriage, but the closure of the university changed the course of
her future. She married the love of her life Arturo Angel Ramudo in 1959 and had
her first child, a daughter named Gloria in 1960. The family moved to Miami, FL in
1961 where she had her second child, a son named Arturo in 1962. In 1963, Hilda
and her family arrived in Las Vegas, NV. This is where she raised her family and
watched it grow. Hilda is survived by her husband, Arturo, of almost 63 years, her children: Gloria and Artie with wife Shirley, her grandchildren: Erik with wife Kim, Shianne “Shay”, Bryan, Anna, and Tony, great grandchildren: Illyana and Wyatt, and cousin: Armando Garcia. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29 from 4-8 pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV
89123). Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 2 pm at Palm
Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89123). Interment to follow. She was tremendously loved by her family and friends. Hilda will be truly missed for the wonderful and inspirational person she was.
