Clarence Henry

Rausch, 93, of Henderson Nevada passed

away on April 17th 2022 in his home. He

was born on July 25th, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. He dreamed as a young boy of becoming a pilot. Being the youngest of three boys growing up during the depression he struggled to meet the weight requiremen­ts to join the Air Force. He was determined, gained the weight necessary and succeeded with all he set his mind to from then on. He was a fighter pilot in the Korean War. He retired from the Air Force as Captain transferri­ng to the retired reserve working as a civilian in the defense department at the pentagon as a computer systems analyst in 1967. He was known for his “two fisted” approach in the office. He was married to his beloved wife Ann for 46 years. She had a lengthy career as an x-ray technician and she and Clarence both retired on the same day in 1982. They married in February of 1961. Clarence adopted her son Jeffrey in 1962 and they adopted a baby girl, Amy in 1964. After retiring, they traveled all over the United States

settling in Henderson, Nevada for their final years. Their son Jeffrey passed away from cancer in September of 2000. Clarence sat with Ann as she passed at home in 2007. Clarence joined her as he wished, passing in the same room he helped her in years prior. Clarence is

survived by his daughter Amy. 4 grandchild­ren, Drew, Sarah, Marcus and Christophe­r. 5 great grandchild­ren, Kelena, Kya, Snow, Price and Nova Red. He will be given full military honors in a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada on June 29th at 2:00 pm.
