On June 8, 2022 Quinn passed away from a tragic hiking accident near her home in Las Vegas, in which her type1 diabetes may have played a role.

Quinn is a third generation Nevadan and the only daughter of Gary Edward Fike, age 71 and Tonia Fike, age 53.

Quinn was a dance major and honors student at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and was set to start her senior year in August. Quinn was incredibly academic with a 4.3 GPA. She had thoughts of attending University of Oregon, and was invited to attend the medical program at Berkeley. Quinn was an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed playing tennis, hiking, rock climbing, and camping with her family. In April, she and her mother, Tonia, attended the three-day Coachella Music Festival in Southern California. Quinn loved live music!

Quinn had recently returned from a 15day rafting trip down the Colorado River of the Grand Canyon with her father, Gary, step-mother, Mary, and her brother Owen.

She was the light of our lives - intelligent, creative, beautiful, funny and dedicated to making an everlasting impact in this world.

Quinn was proceeded in death by her brother Ian Fike (2004) and her grandfathers Carl Robert Baggett, Jr. and Edward Merlin Fike (24th Lieutenant Governor of Nevada).

Quinn is survived by her mother Tonia Fike and her father Gary (Mary) Fike, brother Owen, 15, Jason, 52, Orion, 50 and Paul, 41. She is also survived by her grandmothers Renee Openshaw and Joanne Fike who was born in Las Vegas in 1930, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many close family friends.

The family would like to extend deep gratitude to the Las Vegas Metro Police, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, Red Rock Search and Rescue and SNORR (Southern Nevada Offroad Recovery) teams, Simon Knock, The Jeff Rees Family and countless and friends and family who helped us find Quinn when she went missing on June 8.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF.org).

A celebration of life will be held on Monday 6/20/22 from 6:00pm- 10:00 PM at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, 6375 NV-159, Las Vegas, NV, USA.
