Jean J. Edwardson was born on July 30, 1923 in Olympia, Washington. She was predecease­d by her husband Tander, parents Ralph and Grace Cone, brothers William (Susan) and Leonard Cone, sister Eileen (Darwin) Dehart and nephew Dennis DeHart. Jean is survived by nextof-kin nephews Daryl (Rosemary) DeHart of Las Vegas, Charles (Jill) Cone of Kingman AZ, nieces Sandra (Robert) Lambie of Phoenix AZ, and Nanci (David) Colon from Florida, also great nieces and nephews. Her mother Grace Cone was determined to make her life in the USA, so at the tender age of 16 Grace relocated from Norway arriving through Ellis Island. Jean and her family lived in Canada during the great depression before moving back to the USA in Washington. During her marriage, Jean lived in Burien near Seattle, working for many years in banking. She enjoyed traveling and returned numerous times to Norway visiting remaining family of her mother Grace. Jean was an avid golfer, walking the courses, playing 3 times weekly until she was 89 years old. Jean’s passion was decoupagin­g beautiful goose egg ornaments which she gifted to family members at Christmas time to grace their trees. January 2017 Jean was relocated to Las Vegas by her nephews and nieces to be closer to family. Jean initially resided in independen­t living at Sterling Ridge where she enjoyed meeting her friends for meals and participat­ing in social activities such as playing bingo, poker and exercise classes. When the pandemic hit Jean was moved to assisted living and finally to memory care where she passed away on May 30th 2022. The memory of Jean will live in the hearts of those who knew her forever.
