SUSAN BLOSS MURRAY

Peacefully, on June 15, 2022, Susan (Sue) Bloss Murray, formerly of Shaler Township, PA, lost her courageous battle with cancer at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas NV.

Sue is survived by her husband of 43 years William G (Bill) Murray III of North Las Vegas, NV, stepson Eric Murray of Pittsburgh, PA, sister Linda (Joe) Balcer of North Las Vegas, NV, nieces and nephews in Key West FL, North Las Vegas, NV and Pittsburgh, PA as well as many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer & Mary (Habetla) Bloss both of Millvale PA.

Sue graduated from the Louise Suydam McClintock School of Nursing at St Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA in 1975 where she began her career as an OR nurse for 30 years before taking the position of Employee Health Nurse until her retirement. Sue earned both her BSN & MSN at LaRoche University in Pittsburgh, PA where she became an adjunct professor of Community Health until 2021. Sue was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan especially the Penguins, Steelers, and even the Pirates and she enthusiastically followed the Vegas Golden Knights in her new hometown. In her spare time She enjoyed water aerobics at the YMCA, playing Bunco, being a pet mom to numerous dogs and cats, listening to music, going out to eat, and especially taking selfies. Sue's unique sense of humor will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Sue's name made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital. for Children.

Private Funeral Arrangements were prepared by Palm Mortuary Las Vegas NV. A celebration of life will be planned in Las Vegas NV in the near future.
