OBITUARIES DAVID KRANJCEVIC­H

David passed away peacefully at home November 12, 2022. He was born August 17, 1940 on Vashon Island, WA to John M Kranjcevic­h and Eva (Kranjcevic­h) Sea. He

was preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas Kranjcevic­h, Milton Kranjcevic­h, Helen Brocard, John Kranjcevic­h; and his son, Peter David Kranjcevic­h. He is survived by his wife, Carole (Bingham) Kranjcevic­h; sons, John Mathew (Jacqui Pariel), Daniel Joseph (Angeliek); and grandsons, Chase Danger and Cody Maverick. After graduating from Vashon High School, he went to work on a fishing boat in Alaska. He worked in constructi­on for a while. Then he joined the US Army from 1962 to 1964. He moved to Las Vegas, in 1965, where he met his wife, Carole, and went to work at the Nevada Test Site as a member of lronworker­s Union 433, working for multiple companies: Reynolds Electric, Bechtel Nevada, Nstech for 44 years until he retired in 2006. David and Carole were married in 1969 and celebrated 53 years in April of this year. They were active members of St. Christophe­r Catholic Church until they moved across town to be involved at St. Francis de Sales. He was the Cub Scout Pack leader for Ronzone Elementary for a couple of years. Family was everything to David. He spent his life providing for them and teaching his sons everything he could. He took them camping, fishing, hunting and traveling. The Kranjcevic­h home was open to many relatives and friends of his sons whenever they needed a place to live. He was an excellent cook and loved to provide dinners for everyone. He leaves a large void in the lives of his friends and family. His sense of humor will be missed by everyone. Visitation will be at 11am Sat., Nov. 26 , with services following at 1pm, both at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas.
