Sarah Jane Smith was named director of training, evaluation and communications at the nonprofit Immunize Nevada. She will oversee all aspects of training and education as well as evaluate the organization’s onboarding process. Smith, who has more than 15 years of experience in public health programming, most recently served as health equity project manager for the Department of Health and Human Services.
“Sarah will be integral in Immunize Nevada’s forward evolution, where we are working on better adoption of translation efforts so that more Nevadans have the access they need to receive vaccines, healthcare and other resources,” said Dr. Sherilyn Duckworth, executive director at Immunize Nevada.
United Way of Southern Nevada
recently added Zina Allen as vice president of human resources and Rich Robinov as vice president of marketing. In her new role, Allen will be responsible for recommending organizational policies, procedures and practices as well as enduring compliance with federal, state and local legislation on personnel matters. Robinov will be overseeing the marketing department, helping to increase community awareness and involvement with United Way.
“We are absolutely thrilled that Zina and Rich have joined our organization,” Julian High, president and CEO of UWSN, said in a news release. “Both are highly skilled professionals who have honed their proficiencies during their multi-faceted careers.”
Credit One Bank in Las Vegas announced two promotions. Lauren Vickery has been named senior vice president of credit risk acquisitions. Vickery, who has been with Credit One for more than six years, will be in charge of new account acquisition programs, initial line assignment strategies and tri-bureau relationships to help reach acquisition growth. Zachary Westbrook is now vice president of total rewards and people operations, where he will lead human resource functions that focuses on strategy, design and delivery of the employee experience.
