Sarah Hulme has been appointed director of learning at The Neon Museum, where she will lead the museum’s efforts to develop and implement educational activities and programs for the community. Hulme will also be tasked with expanding and diversifying the museum’s audience through its programming to groups such as families, young adults and senior citizens. Prior to joining The Neon Museum, Hulme served as curator of learning and public engagement at the Nevada State Museum.

Alliance named Bill Arent as its senior vice president and chief business development officer. Arent will lead the organization’s business development team and oversee business expansion and retention efforts for Southern Nevada, among other responsibilities.
He has served in multiple leadership roles at the city of Las Vegas Department of Economic and Urban Development, including redevelopment manager, director and deputy director.
“With more than 20 years experience leading economic development efforts in the region, Bill is the perfect fit to lead the next iteration of LVGEA’S business development efforts,” said Tina Quigley, president and CEO of LVGEA.
Angela Collins was elected as director at large for the Nevada Nurses Association
State Board of Directors. Collins, chief operating officer and chief nursing officer at Nathan Adelson Hospice, will serve a three-year term and was also appointed to the association’s Legislative Committee. She is responsible for assisting in membership recruitment and retention, promoting the association to the public and serving as a committee liaison for membership, by-laws and legislative works.
