NTT Indycar Series: Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

NBC, 9:30 a.m. Live

The NTT Indycar Series hits the gas on the 2024 season as Scott Dixon, Scott Mclaughlin, Pato O’ward and 2023 champion Alex Palou cruise through the 1.8-mile, 14-turn circuit in downtown St. Petersburg and Albert Whitted Airport.

Legends of the Pony Express

INSP, 3 p.m.

This hourlong historical docudrama follows heroic Pony Express riders and station keepers as they face deadly terrain, hostile Native Americans and dangerous outlaws to deliver vital mail across the untamed frontier. Their life-and-death adventures unite the country and become the stuff of legends.

The 96th Oscars

ABC, 4 p.m. Live; preshow begins 3:30 p.m.

Oppenheime­r leads the field of this year’s Academy Award nominees with 13, including Best Picture, Best Director (Christophe­r Nolan) and Best Actor (Cillian Murphy), while its rival at the box office last summer, Barbie, has eight nods, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Ryan Gosling) and Best Original Song (“I’m Just Ken” and “What Was I Made For?”). Just behind Oppenheime­r are Poor Things, with 11 nomination­s, including Best Picture and Best Actress (Emma Stone), and Killers of the Flower Moon, with 10, including Best Picture and Best Director (Martin Scorsese). Jimmy Kimmel is back for his fourth hosting stint for this year’s ceremony.

A Royal Makeover

When all-american Ramone (Ricky Martinez) discovers he is the heir to the European kingdom of San Pablo, he is daunted by the prospect of becoming king. To prepare him for his royal duties, King Felipe (Francisco Paz) hires royal expert Angelica (Veronica Long) to show Ramone the ropes on how a king is expected to behave for the coronation ceremony. Angelica transforms Ramone into the king he is destined to be, and maybe he found his queen in the process.

WWE Rivals: Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

A&E, 8 p.m.

For two decades, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels were the cornerston­es of WWE. Behind the scenes, they were often at odds and had little in common. But despite personal animosity backstage, these two men had a magical chemistry onscreen, creating some of the most captivatin­g moments in WWE history. A roundtable of experts composed of Freddie Prinze Jr., Kevin Nash, Cody Rhodes, Beth Phoenix and John Bradshaw Layfield shed light on this notable battle.

90 Day Fiancé

When Cheesecake (voice of Andy Daly) finds a dangerous job on a crabbing boat, Wolf and Honeybee (Will Forte and Dulcé Sloan) try to teach him interview skills so he can find better work in the new episode “Cheese All That Adventure.”

Belgravia: The Next Chapter

The Belgravia sequel series following Frederick (Benjamin Wainwright) and Clara (Harriet Slater) and the challenges of their courtship concludes its first season.

A swanky murder-mystery party turns into a real investigat­ion when the wealthy host is suspicious­ly found dead in the new episode “Murder on the Splurt Express.”
