Paige VanZant (6-2) vs. Bec Rawlings (7-4)

-

A breakdown of the fights on the main card of Saturday’s UFC on Fox 21 event in Vancouver, British Columbia: Pick: Pettis by second-round knockout Class: Women’s strawweight Line: VanZant minus-210 Storyline: This is a dangerous fight for VanZant. She was obliterated by Rose Namajunas in December, then stepped away to become a star on reality TV. VanZant’s model looks have opened a lot of doors in Hollywood, and while she continues to say she is committed to pursuing her fighting career, it’s incredibly difficult to stay on the grind when so many less-demanding opportunities are out there. VanZant is young and talented, with an aggressive style that makes her dangerous when she’s on her game. But Rawlings is more experienced and should provide a good test for VanZant’s return. VanZant is more talented and rightfully favored, but this is a big price to lay to find out whether her heart is still in the game.

Pick: Rawlings by decision
