Las Vegas Showcase House announces participating designers
The first Las Vegas Showcase House has selected its participating designers after a comprehensive search of the local and regional design community. Widely revered in the national design community, Showcase House events have occurred in major cities nationwide, but this will be the first time Las Vegas joins the ranks.
Opening to the public in January 2018, this major undertaking will expose guests to innovative interior designs, architecture, landscaping and more. The house, located inside the Scotch 80s neighborhood, will feature an on-site cafe serving gourmet fare with wines and beers to complement the menu. A collection of boutiques, The Shops at Showcase, will offer unique merchandise available for purchase.
Las Vegas Showcase House will serve as a major fundraiser for Core Academy, powered by The Rogers Foundation. This progressive education movement fosters the well-being of Southern Nevada’s most underresourced youth by encouraging students to pursue individual success.
Participants in the first Las Vegas Showcase House include American Society of Interior Designers (Central California - Nevada Chapter), Architectural Design Arts Society (Las Vegas Chapter), Attanasio Landscape Architecture, Bergman Walls & Associates, Christopher Todd Design, Dann Foley Lifestyle Interiors, Designing JOI, European Flair Designs, FORMA International, Inside Style, Interior Design Society (Las Vegas Chapter), Joanne Lucia Interiors, Ken Wolfson Interior Design, Klai Juba Wald Architects, Knudson Interiors, Lisa Escobar Design, Michelle Montgomery Interiors, Room Resolutions and Tiny Little Pads.
The designers are tasked with creating room concept ideas. In October, the final concepts will be announced and each designer will be paired with a room or area of the house to bring their creation to life. Work on the house will commence shortly after.
Additional sponsorship opportunities are available. Designers, landscapers or related businesses that would like to learn more about participation may contact Cray Bauxmont-Flynn at info@lvshowcase.org or call 702-957-7544.
