-

At Georgia Dome, Atlanta ■ RECAP: Josh Lambo’s fourth field goal, a 42-yarder in overtime, gave San Diego its first road victory as the Chargers (3-4) rallied from a 17-point deficit to hand the Falcons (4-3) their second straight defeat.

Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman made two key plays. His interception of Matt Ryan set up Lambo’s tying 33-yard field goal with 18 seconds left in regulation. Then in overtime, Perryman’s fourth-and-1 stop of running back Devonta Freeman gave the Chargers the ball at Atlanta’s 43 to enable their winning drive.

The Chargers rallied from a 27-10 deficit after the Falcons scored three straight touchdowns in the second quarter. Melvin Gordon rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns and added a 5-yard TD catch in the fourth quarter, cutting Atlanta’s lead to 30-27.

The Falcons’ Matt Bryant missed a 58-yard field goal attempt on the final play of regulation.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers passed for 371 yards on 27 of 44. Ryan finished 22 of 34 for 273 yards, his NFL-record 46th consecutive game with at least 200 yards. Julio Jones made nine catches for 174 yards.

Jacob Tamme made a 17-yard catch to begin Atlanta’s three-TD surge in the second quarter. Tevin Coleman followed with a 30-yard TD run, and Adrian Clayborn returned a Rivers fumble 5 yards for a score.

■ QUOTABLE: “On fourth-and-1, it was a no-brainer that they were going to run the ball. … I just got Freeman’s leg and hung on.” — Perryman on his overtime tackle
