NEW YORK GIANTS 17, LOS ANGELES RAMS 10
At Twickenham Stadium, London ■ RECAP: The Giants (4-3) intercepted Case Keenum four times to squelch the Rams (3-4) before a crowd of 74,121 in the first NFL game played at London’s home of English rugby.
Keenum drove Los Angeles to the New York 15-yard line with 50 seconds to play, but lobbed a pass in the left corner of the end zone that Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie easily picked off. Intended target Brian Quick cut off his route early.
Keenum, 32 of 53 for 291 yards and a touchdown, has thrown an interception on the Rams’ final offensive play of the last three games, all losses. That will fuel debate on a quarterback change to overall No. 1 draft pick Jared Goff.
On a pedestrian day by Eli Manning (24 of 37, 196 yards, no TDs), the win kept the Giants in good shape in the NFC East, in which all four teams are .500 or better.
Robbie Gould made a 29-yard field goal and kicked two conversions for the Giants as an emergency replacement for Josh Brown, who was placed on the commissioner exempt list after more information surfaced about abusive behavior toward his then-wife.
Tavon Austin’s 10-yard TD catch and Greg Zuerlein’s 36-yard field goal gave the Rams an early 10-0 lead, but Keenum threw two deflected interceptions to Landon Collins, who returned the first 44 for a TD, and two in the end zone to Rodgers-Cromartie.
