Winger has 14 points in last six games

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Filip Forsberg scored 2:45 into overtime and the Nashville Predators came back to beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-4 on Tuesday night for their fourth straight win.

Forsberg had a goal and an assist in the final nine minutes of the third period to lead the Predators back from a 4-2 deficit. Forsberg has 10 goals and four assists during a sixgame point streak.

■ Panthers 3, Hurricanes 2, SO — At Sunrise, Fla., Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau scored in the shootout and Florida snapped a three-game losing streak and won at home for the first time in five games.

■ Capitals 4, Rangers 1 — At New York, Marcus Johansson had two goals and an assist to help Washington win Kevin Shattenkir­k’s first game with the Capitals. NHL-best Washington also gave coach Barry Trotz his 700th career victory.

■ Wild 6, Jets 5 — At Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jason Zucker scored a short-handed goal with 2:10 left in the third period to lift Minnesota to its fourth win in five games. The goal was the 20th of the season for Zucker, a Las Vegas native.

■ Canadiens 1, Blue Jackets 0, OT — At Montreal, Alex Galchenyuk scored in overtime for the second straight night, Carey Price made 26 saves and the Montreal extended its winning streak to three games.

■ Stars 3, Penguins 2 — At Dallas, Antoine Roussel capped Dallas’ three-goal third period and the Stars rallied to beat Pittsburgh. The loss ROUNDUP dropped second-place Pittsburgh seven points behind East Conference leader Washington.

■ Oilers 2, Blues 1 — At St. Louis, Milan Lucic and Mark Letestu scored and Cam Talbot made 25 saves to help Edmonton finish its six-game road trip with a 3-3 record.

■ Bruins 4, Coyotes 1 — At Boston, Riley Nash scored a short-handed goal after Colin Miller was ejected for a bone-rattling hit that sent Arizona’s Alexander Burmistrov to the hospital, and Boston pulled away with a three-goal second period.

■ Flames 2, Kings 1, OT — At Calgary, Alberta, TJ Brodie scored on a breakaway 1:47 into overtime, lifting Calgary over Los Angeles in goalie Ben Bishop’s first game with the Kings. The Flames are 6-0-1 in their last seven.

■ Flyers 4, Avalanche 0 — At Philadelph­ia, Wayne Simmonds scored a pair of first-period goals, Steve Mason made 32 saves and Philadelph­ia won for just the third time in 10 games.

■ Sharks 3, Maple Leafs 1 — At San Jose, Calif., Tomas Hertl scored the tiebreakin­g goal with 1:24 remaining and San Jose beat Toronto for the ninth straight time. The Sharks snapped a three-game home losing streak.

■ Red Wings 3, Canucks 2, OT — At Vancouver, British Columbia, Justin Abdelkader scored a power-play goal 2:31 into overtime to help Detroit win for the third time in four games. Frans Nielson scored twice for the Red Wings.
