Rangers’ Lundqvist celebrates birthday with win over Bruins
BOSTON — Henrik Lundqvist made 32 saves on his 35th birthday, and the New York Rangers got third-period goals from Pavel Buchnevich and Oscar Lindberg to beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 on Thursday.

New York, which has beaten Boston five straight times, outscored the Bruins 12-5 while sweeping the three-game season series.
Lundqvist stymied the Bruins on several outstanding chances and improved to 25-12-2 against Boston with a 1.93 goals-against average.
He earned his 403rd NHL win, tying Grant Fuhr for 10th on the career list.

Sabres 6, Coyotes 3 — At Buffalo, N.Y., Jack Eichel and Ryan O’Reilly each had a goal and two assists, with O’Reilly’s no-look backhand pass setting up Evander Kane’s decisive goal with 5:36 left.
Islanders 5, Stars 4 — At Dallas, Ryan Strome had a goal and two assists, setting up Dennis Seidenberg’s tiebreaker at 7:46 of the third period, as New York rallied with four straight goals.

Senators 2, Avalanche 1 — At Ottawa, Ontario, Alex Burrows scored twice in his Ottawa debut, and Mike Hoffman had two assists to back Craig Anderson, who had 22 saves.
Kings 3, Maple Leafs 2, SO — At Los Angeles, Anze Kopitar scored the decisive shootout goal and had one of Los Angeles’ two third-period goals as the Kings erased a 2-0 deficit.
Sharks 3, Canucks 1 — At San Jose, Calif., Logan Couture had a goal in an assist in the first game in the past 16 between the teams that the home team won.
