Warriors’ home win streak ends

OAKLAND, Calif. — Isaiah Thomas scored 25 points, Kelly Olynyk added 17 points, five rebounds and five assists off the bench, and the Boston Celtics beat the sloppy Warriors 9986 on Wednesday, spoiling Golden State’s lone home game in a nearly three-week span.

Splash Brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined to shoot 4-for-17 from 3-point range as Golden State struggled again without injured star Kevin Durant, who spoke before the game wearing a brace on his injured left knee and using crutches.

Curry had 23 points, five rebounds and six assists, and Thompson scored 25 points as the Warriors’ 10-game home win streak was snapped — nearly a year after Boston ended Golden State’s 54-game home win streak.

It was the Warriors’ first home loss against the Eastern Conference this season and fifth in all out of 26 overall matchups.

■ Jazz 115,Rockets 108 — AtHouston, Rudby Gobert and Gordon Hayward each scored 23 points for Utah, which won its fourth straight and held Houston to 8-for-32 shooting on 3-pointers to end the Rockets’ streak of 18 straight games with at least 10 3s.

■ Raptors 94, Pelicans 87 — At New Orleans, Jonas Valaciunas had 25 points and 13 rebounds for Toronto. New Orleans All-Star Anthony Davis suffered a left wrist injury and didn’t play in the second half.

■ Spurs 114, Kings 104 — At San Antonio, Manu Ginobili scored 19 points for San Antonio, which won its ninth straight and extended its NBA record for 50-win seasons to eight in a row.

■ Magic 98, Bulls 91 — At Orlando, Fla., Elfrid Payton had 22 points, 14 assists and 14 rebounds for his second straight triple-double, helping Orlando erase a 13-point second-half deficit.

■ Bucks 104, Knicks 93 — At Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokoun­mpo scored 22 of his 32 points in the second half and added 13 rebounds for Milwaukee, which won its fourth straight.

■ Heat 108, Hornets 101 — At Miami, Dion Waiters scored 24 points for Miami, which is an NBA-best 20-4 in its past 24 games and moved within a half-game of a playoff spot.

■ Pacers 115, Pistons 98 — At Indianapol­is, Paul George scored 13 of his 21 points in the third quarter for Indiana, which swept its four-game season series from Detroit.

■ Timberwolv­es 107, Clippers 91 — At Minneapoli­s, Karl-Anthony Towns had 29 points and 14 rebounds for Minnesota, which scored 23 points off 17 turnovers.

■ Hawks 110, Nets 105 — At Atlanta, Dennis Schroder scored 31 points for Atlanta, which overcame Sean Kilpatrick’s 27 points to snap a threegame skid.

■ Wizards 123, Nuggets 113 — At Denver, John Wall scored 30 points for Washington, which has won nine of its past 12 on the road.
