Pushing back on EPA cuts

I am writing to push back on the idea that the Environmental Protection Agency needs to be defunded and deregulated.

We all know that capitalism’s bottom line is “every man for himself” and if it’s not specifically regulated and illegal, let’s do it.

With unregulated development, we get smog alerts, ravaged mountain ranges and a polluted Lake Tahoe. The Environmental Protection Agency needs to continue to be a brake on Donald Trump’s polluters-first agenda, to study the effects of global warming and to educate the public on what is happening to our planet.
