■ Yankees 7, Tigers 3 — At New York, Aaron Judge homered for the 34th time this season while Chase Headley and Todd Fraizer each had two RBIS as New York beat Detroit. Luis Severino (8-4) struck out eight in five innings and allowed one run. The Yankees have won eight of their last ten games.

■ Orioles 2, Royals 1 — At Baltimore, Craig Gentry singled home the winning run with two outs in the ninth inning as Baltimore cooled off Kansas City, who lost for only the second time in 12 games. Manny Machado had two hits and scored a run for the Orioles, who have won three straight.

■ Red Sox 6, Indians 2 — At Boston, Doug Fister (1-5) took a shutout into the eighth inning, and rookie Rafael Devers went 4 for 4 and drove in a run as Boston Cleveland. Mookie Betts stopped his mini-slump by driving in three runs with two singles, and Eduardo Nunez added three hits and two RBIS for the Red Sox, who won for the third time in nine games.

■ Mariners 6, Rangers 4 — At Arlington, Robinson Cano had a tworun single in the ninth and Seattle beat Texas, only hours after the Rangers traded pitcher Yu Darvish. David Phelps (1-1) struck out five in 1 2/3 innings before Edwin Diaz pitched a perfect ninth for his 20th save in 24 chances. Seattle has its last three games.

■ Astros 14, Rays 7 — At Houston, Jake Marisnick had three hits, including two homers, and a career-high five RBIS as Houston coasted to a 14-7 win over Tampa Bay. Astros starter Charlie Morton (9-4) allowed a season-low two hits with two runs in six innings for his fourth win in five starts.

■ White Sox 7, Blue Jays 6 —

At Chicago, Matt Davidson singled in Leury Garcia with two outs in the ninth inning for his second gameending hit in as many days, and Chicago rallied to beat Toronto after losing top prospect Yoan Moncada to a right knee injury. Chris Beck (2-1) pitched a scoreless inning for the win. The White Sox had lost 17 of 20 games.
