■ Angels 6, Mariners 3 — At Seattle, Mike Trout hit a two-out, three-run double in the ninth for Los Angeles, which blew a 3-0 lead in the eighth on a two-run homer by Nelson Cruz and a solo shot by Jean Segura. Seattle starter James Paxton (pectoral strain) exited in the seventh.

■ White Sox 3, Astros 2 — At Chicago, rookie Yoan Moncada hit a tying home run in the ninth off closer Ken Giles and a walk-off RBI single in the 11th as the team with the AL’S worst record capped a three-game sweep of league-leading Houston.

■ Blue Jays 4, Yankees 0 —

At Toronto, Marco Estrada (5-7) allowed five hits in seven shutout innings after having been 0-5 with a 7.39 ERA in his previous 12 starts, outdueling Sonny Gray (6-7), who allowed two earned runs in six innings.

■ Rays 4, Indians 1 — At St. Petersburg, Fla., Corey Dickerson hit a two-out, three-run homer in the eighth to save Blake Snell from another loss. Snell (0-6, 4.69 ERA) made his 15th start, the most of any winless pitcher in the majors this year.

■ Orioles 7, Athletics 2 — At Oakland, Calif., Trey Mancini hit two of Baltimore’s four home runs, and Wade Miley (6-9) held Oakland to one unearned run on three hits and struck out seven in seven innings as the A’s lost their third straight. Cincinnati, Scooter Gennett hit a grand slam in the seventh, ending All-star reliever Brad Hand’s scoreless streak at 24 innings, and Eugenio Suarez went deep two pitches later as Cincinnati took three of four in the series.

■ Nationals 3, Marlins 2 — At Washington, Brian Goodwin had an RBI single in the third and a go-ahead home run leading off the Washington eighth as the Nationals overcame a two-run deficit and Giancarlo Stanton’s majors-best 39th homer.
