■ Astros 2, Angels 1 — At Anaheim, Calif., rookie J.D. Davis hit a tying home run in the third, George Springer doubled and scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch in the sixth, and Collin Mchugh (2-2) held Los Angeles to one run in six innings.
■ Athletics 3, Rangers 1 — At Oakland, Calif., Khris Davis hit a go-ahead home run leading off the seventh after his tying shot in the fourth, and Kendall Graveman (4-4) yielded one run in seven innings to improve to 3-0 at home.
■ Twins6,bluejays1— At Toronto, Bartolo Colon (6-10) held Toronto to one run on nine hits in 6 2/3 innings, Byron Buxton had three hits and two RBIS, and Joe Mauer added three hits and two runs.

■ White Sox 3, Tigers 2 — At Chicago, Tim Anderson led off the bottom of the ninth with a double and scored on Yolmer Sanchez’s walk-off single as Chicago won its third straight.

Stephenson (2-4) struck out Pittsburgh’s first six batters and ultimately allowed two runs and struck out 11 in 5 2/3 innings. Josh Bell had a three-run homer among his four hits for the Pirates.
■ Mets 4, Nationals 2 — At Washington, Jacob degrom (14-7) held Washington to one run on five hits and struck out 10 in 7
2/3 innings. New York star Yoenis Cespedes (right hamstring strain) exited in the first.
■ Braves 5, Rockies 2 — At Atlanta, Matt Kemp and Kurt Suzuki homered off Chad Bettis (0-1) to back Julio Teheran (8-11), who allowed two runs over 7 1/3 innings in his first home victory in four months.
■ Diamondbacks 4, Giants
3 — At Phoenix, Paul Goldschmidt hit a three-run homer to back Zack Greinke (15-6), who allowed two earned runs over 6 2/3 innings to improve to 12-1 at home this season.
