■ Red Sox 3, Blue Jays 2, 19 innings — At Boston, the Red Sox won their own version of the Boston marathon, beating Toronto on an RBI single by Hanley Ramirez in a game that took six hours. This was the second-longest game ever at Fenway, which opened in 1912.

■ Rays 2, Twins 1 - Atst. Petersburg, Fla., Jake Odorizzi (8-7) took a no-hitter into the seventh inning in front of a tiny home crowd, and Tampa Bay improved to .500. The game was played before a crowd of 6,509, the smallest-ever announced attendance for a Rays home game.

■ Astros 3, Mariners 1 — At Seattle, Justin Verlander (11-8) pitched six strong innings and won his Houston debut after Cameron Maybin hit a tworun homer with one out in the seventh for the Astros’ first hit against Seattle.

■ Indians 9, White Sox 4 — At Chicago, Jose Ramirez hit two more homers, Austin Jackson also connected and Cleveland earned its 13th straight victory, the longest run by a major league team this season.

■ Tigers 13, Royals 2 — At Detroit, Jacoby Jones and John Hicks each hit two home runs and Detroit ended a five-game losing streak. Detroit had six homers in total. Jason Vargas (14-10) allowed seven earned runs in two innings.

■ Diamondbac­ks 3, Dodgers 1, 10 innnings — At Los Angeles, Brandon Drury drove in two runs on a fielder’s choice in the top of the 10th inning and Arizona won its 12th consecutiv­e game.

■ Rockies 9, Giants 6 — At Denver, Trevor Story homered, Nolan Arenado picked up his major league lead-tying 112th RBI with a double as part of a four-run sixth and Colorado won its 10th straight over the Giants at Coors Field.

■ Cardinals 8, Padres 4 —

At San Diego, Jose Martinez hit two home runs, rookie Harrison Bader added a career-high three RBIS and Michael Wacha (11-7) survived a shaky start to last six innings and win for the second

■ Reds 9, Brewers 3 — At Cincinnati, Robert Stephenson (4-4) escaped threats while pitching into the seventh, and Scooter Gennett homered during Cincinnati’s five-run rally in the bottom of the inning to send the Reds to a win.

■ Phillies 9, Mets 1 — At New York, Ben Lively homered and drove in four runs off Mets ace Jacob degrom (14-9), and also pitched seven strong innings to help Philadelph­ia hand New York its fifth loss in six games.

■ Pirates 4, Cubs 3 — At Pittsburgh, Max Moroff and David Freese delivered RBI singles off Carl Edwards Jr. (3-4) in the eighth inning as Pittsburgh rallied past Chicago to win its fourth straight.
