Wide-ranging talk aboard Air Force One

-

Speaking to reporters on Air Force One on a trip back from Florida on Thursday, President Donald Trump addressed a number of topics, among them:

■ Trump said efforts by former Obama administration National Security Adviser Susan Rice to unmask his associates’ identities in intelligence reports last year are “just the tip of the iceberg,” and that “what she did was wrong.”

■ Trump said he had “a good talk” with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto on Thursday to offer his condolences after last week’s deadly earthquake.

■ Trump said he has not made a decision yet on whether he will renominate Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen for another term but says he respects her “a lot.” The president also noted that the economy is doing well.

■ Trump said he plans to visit China, Japan and South Korea in November. He would not commit to summits that month in Vietnam and the Philippines.
