ESPN accepts host’s apology for tweets disparaging Trump
ESPN says it accepted the apology of its “Sportscenter” host Jemele Hill for tweeting this week that President Donald Trump was a “white supremacist” and “bigot.”
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called Hill’s comments outrageous and something that could be considered a fireable offense by ESPN.
In her original tweet, Hill wrote that Trump is “the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime.”
