LEADING OFF

We made it through the start of the first NHL season in Las Vegas. We led you through the Golden Knights’ initial training camp, then the preseason and the season opener.

And we hope you liked our coverage in the Wednesday paper of the Knights’ home opener at T-mobile Arena.

Five photographers, two videographers and eight reporters documented every minute of the event digitally and in print. They produced five pages of content in the sports section, more than a dozen posts on the web, hundreds of photographs and a half-dozen videos.

That brings me to the inevitable question: How do you like our Knights/nhl coverage?

Beat reporters Steve Carp and David Schoen are providing two to three stories on the team daily. Schoen is writing a weekly NHL notes package for Sundays. Ed Graney and

Ron Kantowski are chiming in regularly with columns.

We’re offering expanded league standings, summaries and a bigger daily roundup of game recaps. Also, we’ll have Knights expanded statistics beginning Sunday.
