In response to the recent letter from John M. Mcgrail:

What in the world does it matter where the shooter registered to vote and to which party? Under what scenario does party affiliation have anything to do with the shootings? Is Mr. Mcgrail attempting to say there was a political motive to the rampage?

Also, what difference does it make how much he won playing video poker? With so many questions needed to be answered or clarified, who cares about his video poker winnings? Maybe the IRS?

Sorry, but those two points are so irrelevant. trained to notice and report suspicious activity.

It will be interesting to see if the lawyers ever define what the hotel could have or should have done differently.

The hotel could require that all customer bags be X-rayed, just as at the airport. This would, of course, be very expensive and detrimental to good customer relations. Or perhaps the hotel could institute a policy of entering every guest room once every day to check for illicit activity. This would also be very expensive and might actually be illegal — not that the leeches and vultures care about such fine points.

In my opinion, these types of lawsuits are immoral and reflect badly on the legal profession. But such actions make lots of money for the legal profession, and that’s what it is all about: money, money, money.
