For those of you mad that we didn’t run a game story on UNLV’S victory over Utah, well, you’re absolutely right.

The Rebels played the Utes on Nov. 22 at T-mobile Arena in a game that started at 9:45 p.m. Compound that with the fact that we had early deadlines for the Thanksgiving Day paper, and we didn’t have a game story for those expecting it.

We did cover it with Adam Hill’s game story and Ed Graney’s column that appeared at Reviewjournal.com/rebels. But we erred by not running either of those stories in Friday’s edition.

We guarantee we will not fall into the same trap when UNLV plays Illinois at 9 p.m. Dec. 9 at the MGM Grand Garden. It will end too late to make our Dec. 10 edition, but we will get it into the Dec. 11 papers.
