One critical, three hurt in crash in central valley
One person was in critical condition and three others were injured after a Tuesday night crash in the central valley.
The crash was reported at 10:45 p.m. at Decatur Boulevard and Pennwood Avenue, according to Metropolitan
Police Department Sgt. Robert Stauffer.
Police say a Mercury sedan traveling south on Decatur ran a red light and struck a Honda sedan traveling west on Pennwood. A female passenger in the Honda suffered critical injuries, police said. The Honda driver, another Honda passenger and the Mercury’s driver, Anthony Gibbons, also were hospitalized.
Gibbons was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol with substantial bodily harm.
