3K walk to benefit children’s heart research

The Children’s Heart Foundation will host the 15th annual Walk with the Heart of a Child on Feb. 24 at Grand Hall at Fashion Show mall on Las Vegas Boulevard. The event starts at 7 a.m. with registration and entertainment, with the 3K walk beginning at 8 a.m. Proceeds will help fund research in pediatric cardiology. Cost of general registration is $25 for adults and $15 for active-duty military, students, seniors and virtual walkers. Register at chfn.org/walk.
