Dolphins plan to release Suh after jettisonin­g LB Timmons

Miami is expected to release Ndamukong Suh, a three-time first-team All-pro defensive tackle, NFL Network reported.

Suh, 31, signed a six-year, $114.4 million contract in 2015 but totaled only 15.5 sacks in the past three seasons. He made the Pro Bowl in 2016.

The Dolphins also released linebacker Lawrence Timmons, 31, after one season with the team.

Buccaneers: Tight end Cameron Brate,

26, agreed to a six-year, $40.8 million contract extension, with $18 million guaranteed, and four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes, 34, agreed to a one-year, $10 million deal.

Ravens: Offensive tackle James Hurst, 26, agreed to a four-year, $17.5 million, with $8 million guaranteed, and safety Lardarius Webb, 32, who had spent all nine of his NFL seasons with Baltimore, was released.

Chiefs: Defensive end Tamba Hali and safety Ron Parker were released. Hali, 34, a 12-year Kansas City veteran, has made five

Pro Bowls, and his 89.5 sacks rank second in Chiefs history.

Bengals: Cincinnati has a deal in place to acquire offensive tackle Cordy Glenn and this year’s No. 21 or 22 draft pick from Buffalo, with the Bills receiving this year’s No. 12 pick.

Cardinals: Arizona reportedly is preparing to offer Kirk Cousins a five-year, $145 million deal that would make the quarterbac­k the highest-paid player in NFL history.

49ers: Punter Jeff Locke, who was cut after five games with Detroit in 2017, agreed to a one-year deal with San Francisco. Terms were not available.

Saints: Offensive tackle Zach Strief, 34, who spent his entire 12-year NFL career with New Orleans, announced his retirement.

Redskins: Kicker Dustin Hopkins agreed to re-sign with Washington. Terms were not available.

Steelers: Cornerback William Gay, 33, will be released Wednesday, ESPN reported.

Cowboys: Cornerback Orlando Scandrick, 31, requested his release, ESPN reported.
