Burfict faces a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’S performanceenhancing drug policy.
The positive test could stem from his use of prescribed medication for a Dec. 4 concussion, ESPN reported. Burfict,
27, also reportedly used prescribed medication after sustaining a Dec. 24 shoulder sprain.
In other Bengals news, former Buffalo linebacker Preston Brown agreed to a one-year deal.
Vikings: Free-agent defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson agreed to a one-year contract with Minnesota worth $8 million, with another $3 million available in incentives.
Steelers: Linebacker Ryan Shazier performed multiple pull-ups in a video posted on social media Friday, 3 1/2 months after sustaining a careerthreatening spinal injury.
Ravens: Free-agent wide receiver Michael Crabtree agreed to a three-year, $21 million contract, with $11 million guaranteed, with Baltimore.
