At Cleveland, Teoscar Hernandez made the most of his season debut, driving in the go-ahead run with a single off All-star Andrew Miller in the seventh and adding an RBI double in Toronto’s three-run ninth, as Cleveland’s five-game win streak ended.

At Kansas City, Mo., Albert Pujols homered and drove in three runs, and Ian Kinsler had three hits and a sacrifice fly that scored Shohei Ohtani with the go-ahead run in the eighth as Los Angeles (12-3) won its sixth straight.

At Seattle, Mitch Haniger hit a go-ahead three-run homer and Dan Vogelbach a two-run shot, both with two outs in the seventh, for Seattle, which won its third straight. Khris Davis had a two-run homer and a solo shot for Oakland.

At Miami, Justin Bour homered and drove in two runs for Miami, and J.B. Shuck had four hits in his first major league game since 2016 for the Marlins, who snapped a three-game skid.

At San Diego, Tyson Ross (2-1) held San Francisco to one unearned run and struck out seven over six innings and hit a go-ahead RBI single in the fifth, and Franchy Cordero homered for San Diego.
