UNLV product Moore shares Texas Open lead

SAN ANTONIO — UNLV product Ryan Moore had three birdies over his last five holes for a 5-under-par

67, joining Zach Johnson at 9-under 135 with a one-stroke lead after two rounds of the Valero Texas Open.

Grayson Murray (69), the firstround leader, and Andrew Landry (67) were one shot back.

Ben Crane (66), Martin Laird (65) and David Hearn (68) were three shots behind. Billy Horschel and Keegan Bradley shot 71 and were four shots back at 5-under 139.

Sergio Garcia, who consulted Greg Norman on the design of the AT&T Oaks Course at the TPC San Antonio, had a short stay in his first time at the Texas Open since 2010. Garcia shot an even-par 72 and at one point became so frustrated he threw his driver into the shrubs.

Garcia finished at 2-over 146 and missed the cut.

LPGA:

At Los Angeles, Moriya Jutanugarn shot a bogey-free 5-under 66 for an 8-under 134 total and a onestroke lead after two rounds of the HUGEL-JTBC L.A. Open at Wilshire Country Club. Bishop Gorman product Inbee Park, the first-round leader, shot 71 and fell into a tie for fourth, three shots back.

Ridgedale, Mo., John Daly and Michael Allen shot an 8-under 46 in alternate-shot and better-ball play to take a one-shot lead in the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf.

At Rabat, Morocco, Alvaro Quiros of Spain shot a 3-under 70 in windy conditions for a 9-under 137 total and a one-shot lead over Andrew Dodt (68) after two rounds of the Trophee Hassan II.
