Jaguars’ Bortles helps police nab teen trying to steal truck
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles helped police arrest a teenager who tried to steal Bortles’ wallet and Ford F-150 truck during a party at the home of teammate Brandon Linder in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Police who arrived on the scene Wednesday found Joseph Horton, 18, being held by Bortles and two others. Horton was arrested on charges of burglary, trespassing and grand theft.

Panthers: Free-agent running back Kenjon Barner, who was drafted by Carolina in 2013 and spent last season with Philadelphia, rejoined the Panthers on a one-year deal.

Redskins: Guard Arie Kouandjio suffered a torn quadriceps that is expected to sideline him for eight months.
Colts: Guard Quenton Nelson, drafted sixth overall, became the highest first-round draft pick to sign.
Giants: Guard Will Hernandez, a Chaparral product drafted in the second round, signed with New York.
