Indians 7, White Sox 3 — At Cleveland, Michael Brantley, Jose Ramirez and Jason Kipnis each hit a solo home run and Cleveland won its fourth straight. Brantley extended his hitting streak to 18 games.
Rangers 9, Mariners 5 — At Seattle, Rougned Odor hit a tie-breaking, three-run double off Chasen Bradford in the top of the ninth inning and Texas ended a twogame losing streak.
Angels 9, Tigers 2 — At Detroit,
Ian Kinsler hit a three-run homer, Luis Valbuena went deep twice and Los
Angeles ended a two-game losing streak. Detroit lost for the second time in six games.
Rays 4, Athletics 3 — At Oakland, Calif., C.J. Cron, Joey Wendle and Wilson Ramos hit consecutive home runs in the third inning and Tampa Bay beat Oakland. Daniel Robertson also homered for the Rays.
Royals 2, Twins 1, 14 innings — At Kansas City, Mo., Alcides Escobar homered with two outs in the 14th inning to give Kansas City a victory over Minnesota. Escobar ended a game that took 4 hours, 12 minutes.
Diamondbacks 5, Reds 2 — At Phoenix, Daniel Descalso hit a two-run homer, Zack Godley (5-4) pitched six effective innings and Arizona won its second straight on the heels on a 1-8 road trip.
Cardinals 6, Brewers 1 — At Milwaukee, Michael Wacha (6-1) pitched two-hit ball for 6 2/3 innings and St. Louis, boosted by three home runs, beat Nlcentral leading Milwaukee.
Rockies 11, Giants 4 — At Denver, Kyle Freeland (5-5) pitched effectively into the sixth inning and doubled in Colorado’s three-run fourth, leading the Rockies past San Francisco.
Padres 9, Marlins 5 — At San Diego, Franmil Reyes hit a two-run homer that put San Diego ahead and the Padres got a fine effort from their bullpen to win a matchup of last-place teams.
