Knights’ rookie camp to begin on June 26
The Golden Knights’ rookie development camp is June 2630 at City National Arena, the team said Tuesday.
The practices are open to the public, and the roster will be released after the NHL draft on June 22-23.
Last year’s first-round picks — Cody Glass, Nick Suzuki and Erik Brannstrom — are expected to participate.
Also, the Knights signed forward Brooks Macek, who helped Germany to silver at the 2018 Olympics, to a two-way contract. Macek, 26, led the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in Germany with 26 goals during the regular season.
*Capitals: Hundreds of thousands of fans lined Constitution Avenue and filled the National Mall to celebrate the Washington Capitals’ first Stanley Cup championship.
