Borenstein helps PCL to victory

Zach Borenstein, the

51s’ lone representative in the Triple-a All-star Game, doubled home a run and scored in a sixrun second inning, helping the Pacific Coast League to a 12-7 triumph over the International League in the prospect-studded game in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday night.

Borenstein was 1-for-5 and played all nine innings in left field.

Albuquerque’s Josh Fuentes was one of four

PCL All-stars with two hits. He led off the crucial sixth inning with a home run.

DJ Stewart and Kean Wong each had three hits for the International League, and Eric Haase added a tworun homer.
