Tell Heller to say no to nominee
Justice Anthony Kennedy has been a crucial swing vote who has decided a number of influential cases, especially for the environment. With Kennedy’s retirement, President Donald Trump and the Republican-controlled Senate can fundamentally alter the nation’s top court.
Should Trump succeed in appointing Brett Kavanaugh, it would jeopardize the future of our environment. The court could overhaul key aspects of fundamental legislation like the Clean Air Act or the Clean Water Act, while also weakening the Environmental Protection Agency’s ability to fight climate change going forward.
