Koreas plan talks as North urges U.S. to ease sanctions

The rival Koreas plan to hold highlevel talks Monday to prepare for a third summit between their leaders, as Pyongyang called on the United States to reciprocate its “goodwill measures.”

North Korea criticized senior U.S. officials for insisting that it give up its nuclear weapons before sanctions are eased. Notably, the statement didn’t directly criticize President Donald Trump.
